A land so diverse, rich with culture and history, expansive in magnificence – welcome to my beautiful country, The Incredible India. One of the largest countries in the world, India is home to a rich and diverse culture, with a population of almost one-fifth of the world’s population. With each state, one gets to experience diversity in terms of eating habits, language is spoken, food, etc. From Kashmir to Kanyakumari, one can literally witness immense cultural diversity.
Though this country is immensely diverse, the “Unity in Diversity” slogan is what drives people to remain united despite the differences n clothing, food, festivals, languages spoken, etc. Being a secular and democratic country, people in India have the right to choose the leader of their choice and enjoy a lot of freedom, unlike other countries following the dictatorship. Various states in India have changed and evolved over the years based on their rich cultural heritage. Even when it comes to religion, India is home to some of the most incredible shrines and temples that are visited by over millions of people each year, both from India and abroad. Consider for example the Vaishno Devi shrine in Jammu, the Ajmer Dargah in Rajasthan, or even the beautiful churches of Goa. People in India are very religious and always follow and practice their religion very seriously. Due to a number of religions, people in India also get to experience a number of festivals and rituals.
India is also home to some of the most magnificent monuments that can be found in any part of the world. Be it the Taj Mahal in Agra, which is also a UNESCO world heritage centre, or the Qutub Minar in New Delhi or even the Gateway of India in the financial capital of the country, Mumbai.
